Somebody brew me a confidence potion,
A solution that will so harden
Affirming my skin and all that akin,
To the thickness of a fortress:

Transmute me to Troy’s size,
Transform me to the unassailable, indomitable;
Feed me fuel to set my heart ablaze,
Make me an unconquerable tower,
A candle with an unquenchable flame;

Mould me into a furnace of confidence,
Outpacing rushing worries, slipping off insecurities;
Volcano evaporating downpours of anxiety,
Mist that outchokes those sweeping ghosts
That haunt me echoingly so,
Outweighing my volumeless weeping;

Give me walls to dam those worries
And allay them from this heart.
Somebody brew me a confidence potion
Or at least,
Direct me to an alchemist professing that art.

A silly response:

Sir, you need not travel far,
May I recommend to you:
